Reactive Sensor Networks Project

Objective

Construct a system for aggregation and agile processing of sensor information in distributed sensor networks. Data needs, availability, and network traffic are unknown. Sensors, network nodes, and links are subject to unforeseen failures and service degradation. Use of a repository of mobile code and resource bounded optimization techniques allows the network to adapt to a chaotic environment.

Processes are allocated to resources based on their current resource utilization. The system makes these choices using available information, and considering only the immediate future.
